  • B-frame 0,1-30A for AC and DC applications

B-frame 0,1-30A for AC and DC applications

A very compact circuit breaker for space saving installations and various type of equipment protection. B-frame series can be built in one and two pole configurations. They can also be build as AC as well as DC breaker so you get correct product for your voltage. B-frame is approved to IEC/EN 60934. On the UL side it exist as UL recognized (UL1077) and UL listed to UL489A. B-frame also carry CCC-approval for the Chinese market.

  • C-frame 0,1-50A for AC and DC applications

C-frame 0,1-50A for AC and DC applications

Modular circuit breaker that is suitable as distribution breaker as well as built in protection of equipment. The CBI C-frame range can be built in rated currents from 0,1A to 50A and in 1 to 4 pole configurations. Just as the other CBE products from CBI, the C-frame is built up of several different building blocks, like a “LEGO”. I.e. there are many different variables that can be combined to suite your application in the best possible way. Example is, except of obvious options like rated current and time delay, is: Handle, terminals, color, printing, auxilliary switch, trip alarm switch etc. The most popular handle is the “Flush-Rocker” handle which is totally flat when the breaker is turned on in order to prevent accidental switching off.

C-frame is CE-approved to IEC/EN 60934, UL-approved to UL1077 or listed according to UL489A. It is also CCC-approved for the Chinese market.

  • Connection terminals

    Connection terminals

For an easy and reliable way be able to connect cables and busbars in a system is not always easy. Therefore we are utilizing sub-components from some of our circuit breakers and supply as separate components. The advantage is that they are designed to create reliable connections and they are easy to deliver in large quantity to an attractive price picture.

  • DD-frame 0,5-400A for AC and DC applications

DD-frame 0,5-400A for AC and DC applications

The DD-frame can also be built with a motorized function for remotely switch the circuit breaker on and off. This is a simple way of designing a cost effective and simple system without usage of contactor or MOSFET-solutions. The solution is very compact and it is and ideal for “hard to reach” applications. It can either be inside an equipment or at a remote telecom site etc.

DD-frame is CE-approved according to IEC/EN 60934 and IEC 60947-2. For UL it is recognized to UL1077 and UL listed to UL489 and UL489A UL-listed for UL 489 and UL 489A. It is also CCC-approved for the Chinese market.

  • Escutcheon blanks

    Escutcheon blanks

In the cases when a distribution is not fully equipped with circuit breakers it can be of interest to cover the empty slots with a “dummy plate” or escutcheon blank as we say. This can be of interest both from a safety point of view as well as for better appearance. We have ready solutions for both our rail mounted products with 57 mm front escutcheon as well as for the most of the front mounted CBE products.

  • Front mounting for RCBO

    Front mounting for RCBO

The very popular RCBO, QF17A, is a component intended for mounting on traditional DIN or mini rail. However, we have developed an adapter which makes it possible to mount in a front cover instead. We have been involved in several projects that would like to utilize the unique features of the QF17A (not sensitive to temperature, compact dimensions, both UL and VDE approval etc.) but for mounting into an enclosure with other front mounted components.

  • Handle lock

    Handle lock

Do you need to ensure that the breaker is not tripped unintentionally? Emcomp has a solution! A handle lock for the Q series. Emcomp’s 13 and 26 mm wide MCB range, the Q series, has a special lock that make it possible to lock the handle in the on or off position. The lock can be further secured with a pad lock if necessary. This can be valuable if you have a load that not should be switched off, or vice versa, if you have a load that absolutely not should be switched on, for instance during maintenance work etc.

  • Insulated busbars

    Insulated busbars

Emcomp’s insulated busbars are especially designed for usage together with CBI Q-range MCBs. Due to the smaller modular width of the Q-range (13 mm) we of course also need to support with busbar systems with the same pitch. The busbars are available in various configurations for 1-3 phases, with or without auxiliary switches. Emcomp’s Busbars for Q-range are available in both straight and 90degree angled versions, with pin as well as fork connection. Usage of Emcomp’s Busbars saves time during assembly as well as gives more even distribution of the current which increase safety as the risk for imbalanced loads in the system decreases.

  • L-frame (100-600A AC, 800-1500A DC)

    L-frame (100-600A AC, 800-1500A DC)

The L-frame in DC configuration is delivered with busbars for paralleling up to 1500A. The products are tested in accordance with IEC60947-2 and IEC60947-3.

  • Mounting bracket for DIN rail

    Mounting bracket for DIN rail

Our battery circuit breaker, the DD-frame, is a CBE product. CBE stands for “Circuit Breaker for Equipment”, which is intended for mounting in a front cover or similar. If you would like to install this type of circuit breaker in a traditional DIN rail system we have developed an adapter for this. The reason to mount a DD-frame in a DIN rail system can be for instance; You need a higher rated current than what’s available with traditional MCBs? DD-frame can operate up to 400A in DC configuration. Maybe you wish to in an easy way remotely control a load? The DD-frame can be supplied with the compact and efficient motorized module RAU – Remote Actuation Unit.

  • Paralleling busbars for front mounted CBEs

Paralleling busbars for front mounted CBEs

The ranges of dedicated DC circuit breakers for DIN rail mounting offers new possibilities for DC distributions without vague de-rating rules for applying AC MCBs to DC voltages. For the higher rated currents 80A and above, a proper paralleling bridge is needed for best possible performance. In our portfolio there are paralleling bridges for MCBs with 13, 19 and 26mm pitch. They can be both in straight or in angled version and with connection terminals for different size of open end cable as well as with studs for connection of cables with cable lug. The standard version is untreated copper but in the cases where the application calls for it we can also deliver with surface treatment.
