Control possible in both directions
Kendrion’s Reversible Linear Solenoids have several advantages. The particular function of the reversible solenoids is the possibility to control the switching time from the stroke start to the stroke end position of the armature. Thanks to the high-precision bearings coated with Teflon, the linear solenoids even works maintenance-free. This ensures a long lifetime at a high switching frequency of the solenoid. Due to the two coils inside the housing, the mechanical armature reset by an external force is not necessary. Despite the two magnetic systems built into the device, they offer compact dimensions with large forces and long stroke movements of up to 40mm. It is also possible to add a female connector with an integrated bridge rectifier enabling the solenoid to work with alternating current.
With the long life and unique ability to control response and release times, Reversible Solenoids are an excellent choice for various industries. Currently, some typical applications for the soelnoids are in the packaging industry, automation technology, and machine-building.
